The Vision The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community envisions a balanced approach to development that reflects the Community’s values of economic, social and cultural sustainability. Salt River Devco was established to promote development within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community so as to enable the Community to survive and prosper as an independent Indian Community by creating a viable economy for the Community. Salt River Devco provides professional expertise in real estate projects to landowners who want to commercially develop their properties. Salt River Devco also manages the Community's current and future commercial business assets. The vision carries through to today in part by pushing for economic diversification, a more self-reliant Community and by fostering mutually positive relationship with outside business partners and surrounding municipalities. The Vision: To create, over the next 30 years, an integrated and successful commercial corridor along the western boundary of the Salt River Community that will be an on-going source of pride, inspiration, jobs and opportunities for the region, while reflecting the cultural values and integrity of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa tribe. back to top Copyright © 2003.
